Colin Armstrong PG.Dip; MIOA; PCN; MINSTNDT (Director)

Colin is a member of the British Institute of None Destructive Testing (BINDT) and the Institute of Acoustics (IOA). He has more than 25 years experience in the acoustics and noise control, vibration analysis and control engineering, and Condition Monitoring disciplines and has vast experience in the provision of these services to a wide range of industrial sectors. These sectors include Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverages, Paper and Pulp, and Construction industries. He specialises in vibration analysis and rotor dynamics on high speed rotating machinery and in vibration diagnostics and condition monitoring on FPSO’s, FSO’s and other offshore floating production facilities. Colin’s experience and in depth knowledge has been gained from his previous roles as Acoustic Technician, Acoustic Consultant, Vibration Analyst, CM Technician, CM Consultant, Senior Consultant and Principal CM, Acoustics and Vibration Engineer. Colin is an active member of BINDT and forms part of the institutes NW Working Group.
