Our core client base in the oil and gas sector are some of the leading oil and gas companies, along with other condition monitoring consultancy companies when they require a specialist service. We mainly work directly for the client, although we also consult on a sub-contract basis as and when required. SAVE can provide and manage Total Condition Monitoring Programs (TCM) which are bespoke to ensure the most cost effective and suitable methods and techniques are applied for the detection and diagnosis of machinery failure modes and mechanisms. The TCM program is a fluid one that should be adjusted to meet the prevailing requirements of an asset whether that be age, budgetary requirements, market conditions or improvements through learnings gained. The most common techniques and technologies used include Vibration Analysis, Acoustic Emissions, Noise Assessments, Lubricant Analysis, Process Monitoring, Ultrasonic Leak Detection, Thermal Imaging, Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA), Partial Discharge (PD) and Pump Flow Performance Testing.
Our TCM can be expanded to include other business critical sectors, such as Environment, Health and Safety. SAVE can link condition monitoring parameters such as vibration levels of machinery to occupational noise and vibration exposure. We can correlate area noise levels and deck vibration levels with the machinery vibration amplitudes, providing risk assessments and calculating personnel exposure times for the machinery areas simultaneously with the scheduled condition monitoring programs vibration analysis routine.
SAVE also provide acoustic, vibration engineering and condition monitoring services to many non-oil and gas clients, including a wide range of industrial engineering and manufacturing sectors such as Paper and Pulp, electrical component, soap and detergent manufacturers, mineral processing and environmental waste management companies. SAVE’s other core service sectors include property development companies, architectural / structural engineering companies, planning and design consultancies and local authorities where we provide a variety of architectural, environmental, and industrial engineering and consultancy services for planning purposes, building regulations requirements and environmental impact assessments.
A full list of the services SAVE provide can be found in the Services section of our website. These include both routine and ad hoc services. Some of the services that we offer are conducted through affiliate companies. These services include lubricant analytical services, stress test analysis and fatigue analysis, and Recip Trap Testing of gas compressors and engines, and accredited BiNDT and MOBIUS training.
