Partial Discharge (PD) – Switch Gear Condition Monitoring surveys are performed to monitor the condition of the insulation of the switchboard, cables and ancillary components. The Partial Discharge (PD) surveys, both on and off-line are performed during normal operation utilising Transient Earth Voltage (TEV) and Ultrasound detection techniques and are suitable above 3.3kV.
